As Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space for the City of Boston, we will hear from Chief Cook how Franklin Park's Master Plan is a generational opportunity, and investment in improvements connects to broad city goals in health, climate, and community development.

Post-Meeting Workshop Options

11:30 am-12:30pm

A) Naturalist Walk in Scarboro Pond,  hosted by Jeffrey Taylor from Franklin Park Zoo. Do you want to help locate wildlife in Franklin Park and sharpen your eye for animal observation? Join our walk to learn more about the park's ecosystem!

B) Tour Lena Park Community Center and learn about their program offerings (20 minutes)

C) Finding Our Voice Workshop- Establishing the building blocks of a Franklin Park Coalition messaging framework.

Effective messaging connects what an organization offers (its roles, program areas, impact, etc.) with what constituents are looking for, care about, and will participate in. Are you interested in or have ideas regarding how Frankin Park Coalition articulates its roles and value? Following the annual meeting, join volunteer Brandon Comstock (of Particle, a local branding / digital strategy practice) for an interactive workshop to help the Coalition more effectively communicate with its important constituencies.

Will you come?
